  • About Robert M. Ryerson

    A Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) for more than 25 years, Robert M. Ryerson got his professional start as a stockbroker with the World Trade Center offices of Shearson Lehman Brothers before establishing himself as an independent expert on retirement/legacy planning and estate management. In more recent years, Robert M. Ryerson has expanded into the field of identity theft protection, speaking, teaching, and writing on the subject through a variety of venues and outlets. In addition to his CFF designation, he holds credentials as a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist.

     

    Robert M. Ryerson is the coauthor of the 2013 book What You Don’t Know About Retirement Will Hurt You, and the author of the 2016 book What’s The Deal With Identity Theft?: A Plain-English Look at Our Fastest Growing Crime. Written with his partner and colleague Louis Terrero, Mr. Ryerson’s latest book - a close look at the complex work of required minimum distributions - features contributions from the late estate-planning attorney Michael Mangini.
